CRAPE MYRTLE CARE

It is that time of year again when so many people think that cutting their Crape Myrtles back is the right thing to do.

Crape Myrtles are trees and should not be topped. The only pruning that should be done would be the interior rubbing limbs, dead limbs or crossing branches.

Clemson University and The University of Georgia both recommend that Crape Myrtles should not be top cut.
